Kim Hanley: Executive Director
Kim Hanley served as AHT’s Associate Producer from 1998 to 2011. In January 2015 AHT was pleased to announce her return to the company in the role of Executive Director. She is also an actor, dancer, singer, historian and costume designer. As an AHT actor/historian, Kim portrays 10 different women, most notably Abigail Adams, Annie Oakley, Lucretia Mott and Harriet Beecher Stowe.
Prior to her return to performing arts, she attended the Fashion Institute of Technology (S.U.N.Y) where she earned BFA in the Restoration and History of Decorative Arts and her AA in Fashion Buying and merchandising. She worked for 8 years in New York City’s Garment Industry as a Production Coordinator.
In her youth Kim was trained in the art of Classical Ballet at the School of American Ballet, the youth division of George Balanchine’s New York City Ballet Company. She has appeared on the stages of the New York State Theater and the Metropolitan Opera House, as well as theaters across the country.
Perhaps her “biggest” claim to fame is that she is the costume designer for the MLB Philadelphia Phillies world famous mascot: The Phillie Phanatic.
She is a member of Actors’ Equity Association.
