Celebrate the Centennial of Women Suffrage in the United States.

The first Women’s Rights convention was held in 1848, in Seneca Falls, NY.

“We hold these truths to be self evident, that all men and women are created equal…”

It would take over 70 years to achieve Woman Suffrage, the Vote! in the united States.

The 19th amendment was adopted on August 18, 1920 - this amendment to the U.S. Constitution guaranteed Women the right to vote in the United States.

“The right of citizens of the United States to vote shall not be denied or abridged by the United States or by any State on account of sex.
Congress shall have power to enforce this article by appropriate legislation.”
